Music is very important at St John of the Cross and plays a major role during the celebration of Mass. Under the direction of Ryan Kasten, we offer a diverse music program which includes children's choir (Kantorei), adult choir, cantors, and instrumentalists. We incorporate the joys of singing while teaching the fundamentals of music and reinforcing our Catholic faith.
"I will sing the Lord's praise, for He has been good to me." (Psalm 13:6)
If God has gifted you with the ability to sing or play, or if you are looking for a way to become more involved and want to learn, then we would love to have you join us!
Kantorei meets every Wednesday evening at 5:00 pm
Adult Choir meets every Wednesday evening at 6:30 pm
Instrumentalists meet as needed for special events and Holy Day Masses
